Do not try to chew more than you can swallow!

A dream doesn’t become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.
Colin Powell

I was trying an exercise machine in the gym. It is a simple treadmill. You can adjust the speed, the level of inclination, the duration etc. Once you decide a speed of 4 miles per hour and 15% inclination in 25 minutes, then you have to adjust your walk to match the setting you have chosen.
When you start using the walker, the original setting is far easier and simple. It is up to you to change it to stretch your stamina. But, once you change the setting, you have no other option but to adjust your speed. If you don’t, you will fall. If you set an option which is beyond your capacity, you will get into problems.
This principle applies to our life also. Once we fix our goal, the size of our goal and ambition will decide how much we have to work, how much we have to rest and sleep, what knowledge and skill we have to acquire etc. If we are not willing to do so, but still want our goal, we will experience a lot of tension and stress.

Check if your present effort level and resources match your goals and ambitions in life and visualise what will happen if you don’t stretch!
