Happy Parenting and Teaching Part 10

Do you have the dilemma 'I want to change, but I don't know how to change', ' I want to come up in life, but I don't know how to do that', I want to give up smoking, but I don't know know how to give up' etc?
There is always a 'outcome - process - knowledge - skill' link.

In this episode I have discussed how to break this vicious circle.

I have also included an interesting game in this video. I am sure this will be useful to you.

Please watch and forward to others.

Happy Parenting and Teaching Part 9

Is it possible that anybody can do anything, if someone can do it?

The answer is YES! Know the meaning of the NLP Presupposition 'If one person can do something, anyone can LEARN to do the same thing'.

We should learn the mental programme of successful people. In this episode I have also discussed the case study of a student who scored State First to explain this NLP Presupposition.

Please share this blog with your friends if you think it will benefit them.

Happy Parenting and Teaching Part 6

We know about the hardware technology used in the classroom such as the Smart Boards and the Interactive Boards and gadgets. We should know the technology of 'mind' and how it is relevant to the various issues faced by parents and teacher!
The gap between 'teaching' and 'learning' and how to bridge the same? Also the gap between 'hearing' and listening', 'speaking' and 'communicating', 'looking' and 'noticing', 'observing' and 'understanding'!
Listen this episode in which I have explained how NLP could be an effective interface in a classroom teaching process.
I have also explained the NLP Presupposition 'The Map is Not the Territory'!
If you like this, please forward the same to your friends and relatives....

'Mindscaping' for career building 27

'Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit'

 Vince Lombardi

One important trait of great achievers is their ability to learn and unlearn. Learning and unlearning is not an overnight event. We learn a new language. Once we learn it, we cannot unlearn it immediately. We can even say that it is not only difficult, it is impossible to unlearn. There is no shortcut for the learning and unlearning process. There is no 'Ctrl+C', 'Ctrl+V' and 'Alt+Ctrl+Delete' when it comes to dealing with our mind!

It applies to forming and getting rid of an existing habit. It is easy to force a behaviour on us. But, if we are not convinced, our mind will not accept and  will reject the same. We cannot 'manipulate' our mind to accept something on which we are not convinced. Self conviction is very important before self acceptance.

When it comes to career development we have to learn and unlearn our existing set of actions and processes. We may introduce a new technology and a new process of doing our business. But acceptance should follow introduction.

Here's a simple exercise for you.

You know what time to get up in the morning. From tomorrow get up one hour before that time and see if you could do it continuously for 21 days without even a day's break!
